👋 meet the family behind it

Our story — why we built Famloop.

Famloop began around a kitchen table. Meet the family behind the shared calendar and organiser app built for calmer routines and everyday family life.

Our story in 30 seconds

A quick skim of how Famloop grew from a kitchen-table idea into a family organiser.

  1. 2022

    The kitchen-table idea

After too many mornings answering the same questions, we sketched a simple shared calendar that the whole family could read.

  2. 2023

    Built for real families

We added chores, meal plans, and role-based access — shaped by how our own household actually works.

  3. 2024

    Calendar sync & AI help

Google and Microsoft Outlook integration arrived, plus AI suggestions for meals, chores, and reminders.

  4. 2025

    Famloop goes live

We opened Famloop to families across the UK, complete with installable apps, push reminders, and bank holidays.

Famloop began around our family kitchen table.

Like so many families, our days were busy. Between work, school runs, appointments, after-school activities, and everything else that comes with raising a family, it often felt like we were constantly trying to keep up with life rather than enjoy it.

But for us, staying organised wasn't just about convenience.

As parents of an autistic child, we understand how important routine and predictability can be. Each morning would begin with questions about the day ahead. What are we doing today? Who's picking me up? What's for dinner? What time are we leaving? Having clear answers helped reduce anxiety and brought a sense of calm and confidence to the day.

We searched for a simple way to keep our family connected and informed, somewhere everyone could easily see what was happening and feel prepared for the day ahead. When we couldn't find quite what we needed, we decided to create it ourselves.

That's how Famloop was born.

What started as a solution for our own family has grown into something we hope can help others too. Famloop is designed to make everyday family life a little easier by bringing schedules, plans, meals, tasks, and important information together in one place.

More importantly, it's about creating less stress and more certainty. It's about helping children feel included, helping parents feel organised, and helping families spend less time coordinating life and more time living it.

Every feature in Famloop has been inspired by real family experiences, real challenges, and real conversations around our own dinner table.

We're not a big corporation. We're a family who wanted to make family life work a little better.

And if Famloop can help another family start their day feeling calmer, more connected, and more prepared than the day before, then that's exactly why we built it.

From our family to yours, welcome to Famloop. ❤️

Highlights from our journey

The moments, values, and milestones that shaped Famloop.

For our family, routine isn't rigid — it's a kind of kindness. It gives our child the confidence to step into the day.

Questions about Famloop

A few quick answers about who we built this for and how it can help your family.

Who is Famloop for?

Famloop is for any family that wants one calm, shared place for schedules, chores, meals, and shopping. It's especially helpful for busy households, blended families, and families who rely on routine — including families with neurodivergent children.

How does Famloop help day-to-day?

It pulls everyone's Google and Microsoft Outlook calendars into a single colour-coded view, keeps chores and shopping lists live across every phone, and makes meal planning and reminders visible to the whole family.

Is Famloop safe for children to use?

Yes. Children get their own sign-in with a Child role that limits what they can add or change. For example, they can suggest a meal, but an adult approves it before it goes on the plan.

Is Famloop free?

The Free plan covers a shared family calendar, chores, meal plans, and shopping lists for up to 3 members. Premium and Family Plus plans add AI suggestions, two-way calendar sync, and larger households, with a 14-day free trial.
