  4. 4.Confirm — Famloop installs like any other app

Windows & Mac desktop

  4. 4.Famloop opens in its own window and pins to your dock or taskbar

Safari on iPhone doesn’t show an install button, so the Share menu is the way in. Everything else works the same once it’s on your home screen.

Seeing an Android warning about “an older version of Android” or missing privacy protections? That only appears when installing a downloaded APK file from a third-party app builder — not from Famloop. Install using Chrome’s Install app menu option above and you won’t see it.

No. Famloop installs straight from your browser as an app on your home screen, and it updates itself automatically. Native App Store and Google Play versions are in the works, and your family, calendars and chores will carry over.
How do I install Famloop on an iPhone or iPad?
Open famloop.co.uk in Safari, tap the Share button, scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. Safari doesn't show an install button, so the Share menu is the way in.
How do I install Famloop on Android?
Open famloop.co.uk in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu in the top right, choose Install app or Add to Home screen, then confirm. Famloop then behaves like any other installed app.
How do I install Famloop on Windows or Mac?
Open famloop.co.uk in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar and choose Install. Famloop opens in its own window and pins to your dock or taskbar.
Why does Android warn that the app is unsafe or built for an older Android version?
