Our commitments
Encrypted calendar tokens
Google and Microsoft calendar tokens are encrypted before they are stored. We never see your Google or Outlook password.
No ads, no data sales
We don't show ads and we don't sell your family's data. Our revenue comes from optional paid plans, not from advertising.
You own your data
The content your family creates belongs to you. Export or delete your data at any time from your family settings.
Delete anytime
Family owners can permanently delete a family and its data. Members can leave a family or request full account deletion.
Role-based access
Owners and admins control who can join and what each member can see or do. Children can make suggestions without changing settings.
Choose your notifications
You control which emails and push notifications you receive. Set quiet hours so reminders arrive when you want them.
How we protect your data
Transport security
Every request between your browser or app and Famloop uses HTTPS and TLS encryption. Calendar providers are connected through their official OAuth sign-in pages.
Least-privilege access
Famloop only asks for the calendar permissions it needs to sync events. You can review or revoke these permissions in your Google or Microsoft account at any time.
No anonymous sign-ups
Accounts require a verified email address. Family members can only join through an invitation from a family owner or admin.
Audit logging
Family owners can review an activity log of invitations, role changes and access updates for their family.
Hosting and storage
Application data is stored in secure, professionally managed cloud infrastructure with encryption, access controls and regular backups.
Breach response
If we ever discover a security issue that affects your data, we will notify affected users promptly and take action to fix it.
Your data belongs to you
Famloop is built for families, not for advertisers. The calendar events, chores, meal plans, shopping lists, rewards and messages you add are your family's content. We only use it to provide the service you asked for.
You can disconnect calendars, leave a family, or delete your account at any time. When a family is deleted, the associated data is permanently removed from our systems.
We do not train AI models on your personal data without your permission. Any optional AI features only process the minimum data needed to answer your question or generate a suggestion.
Security questions
Is my family's data encrypted?
Yes. Calendar tokens and other sensitive connection details are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. All traffic between your device and Famloop is sent over HTTPS.
Does Famloop show ads or sell data?
No. Famloop does not display ads and we do not sell, rent, or share your family's data with advertisers or data brokers.
Who owns the data we add to Famloop?
You do. Your family owns the calendar entries, chores, meal plans, shopping lists, chat messages and other content you create. You can export or delete it at any time.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Family owners can delete their family and its data from Settings. Individual members can leave a family or request account deletion by contacting support.
